 Description

Hello,

I took a look at the "restapi.cpp" file, and it seems implementing only the "GET" and "POST" HTTP methods. So, is there some plan to implement the others methods like "PUT" and "DELETE"?

This feature could be very useful to provide a slim layer allowing other languages/compilers (like Free Pascal, Delphi, cUrl etc.) to use mongoDB without depending on a driver.

Thank you!

Hi silvioprog, the HTTP console is intended only to provide information for administrators. There are a number of third-party HTTP REST interfaces for MongoDB that may be of interest to you.

A request for a full HTTP REST interface was made previously on SERVER-12730, so I'm going to mark this ticket as a duplicate. Feel free to vote for SERVER-12730 and watch it for updates.

Regards,
Ramón.
