 Description

Frequently run buildvariants (once every hour or two) will be:

Linux 64-bit
Windows 64-bit 2008R2+ DEBUG
OS X 10.8 DEBUG
Enterprise Linux 64-bit Amazon AMI
Enterprise Windows 64-bit
Solaris 64-bit

The rest will be run at a 24 hour interval.

Probably do some clean up on test suite inconsistencies at the same time:

  • Make Windows and Windows 2K8+ run the same suites
  • Move enterprise linting to the Enterprise Amazon buildvariant
  • Move all rlp* and *ese test suites to the Enterprise Amazon buildvariant

Ian, can you please list the proposed "some buildvariants" in the Description of this ticket? It will help further the discussion.

I concur with changing the batchtime to 1 hour for the non-daily buildvariants. Is it set to 3 hours now?

robert.guo ese tests would continue to run on Windows too.

milkie what do you think about moving the batchtime for most builders to once/24hours (as previously discussed) but set the batchtime for the main buildvariants to 1 hour to continue to try and catch concurrency, fuzz and parallel issues?

Would the Windows ese tests also be moved to Amazon Linux ?
