I'd like to specify an alternate interface for the http status monitor. Lets say I use mongodb on my intranet but only want the status monitor locally - or the other way around. |

The HTTP server has been removed from the server in 3.5 development, and we do not plan to make any improvements to it in older stable branches which still support it. |

This would be a handy security feature and allow the http status monitor to be used more easily in secure environment. |
