 Description

Use tools like structure-analysis/signatures (extent/collection/db) to detect data integrity issues (for storage) during read/write operations. Also, provide tools/commands to inspect the objects to report integrity, or possibly remove the data.

An example of the need for this is where part of the mapped files are written to disk by the OS but the process crashes leaving the on-disk storage broken (documents/indexes out of sync, documents updated in part but not whole – when larger than 4KB).
