The default installed configuration file on Ubuntu Maverick (coming from the package in 10gen's repository: "http://downloads.mongodb.org/distros/ubuntu 10.10 10gen") includes a parameter named "oplog" (which is commented by default). This parameter doesn't exists, and prevents the daemon from launching. It should be 'diaglog', and not oplog. |
