 Description

If I push a hard workload of large (2MB, containing 136x1000 array) documents into a standalone wiredTiger - I get very slow performance, stalls and very long drop() times (minutes) with wiredTiger - up to 60s long stalls on occasion.

That's with 3.0.7

In 3.2-rc0 I do not see this at all - is this a known issue and is it being backported to 3.0?

Hey John,

Did you get a chance to go over this one?

Comment by John Page [ 12/Nov/15 ]

I'd need to go back and recreate this, I'll try to do it tomorrow.

I made an attempt to get this going today and couldn't see any obvious signs.

Can you share how you are measuring to determine when there are delays and stalling?

Can you confirm all of your configuration options for the MongoD?

And you mention 500 IOPS, have you tried other faster disks? Was it reproducible? And if so, what filesystem?
