I have a 3 node replicaset. I have changed one of the nodes to wiredtiger. I changed the config to point to an empty directory. The sync seems to start from fresh. But after a while I start getting the following error and the replication never finishes the sync. it just tries over and over again. assertion 13436 not master or secondary; cannot currently read from this replSet member ns:config.settings query:{} |

Hello The reason why i submitted this issue was that i have seen other bugs reports about this issue on jira. I assumed it was a bug just like others. It hs the same error message and similar symptoms. |

Thanks for your report. Please note that the SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-user group or Stack Overflow with the mongodb tag, where your question will reach a larger audience. A question like this involving more discussion would be best posted on the mongodb-user group. I'd recommend you include full logs for all nodes of this replica set. See also our Technical Support page for additional support resources. |
