This ticket is a bit too open-ended for us to track work against it, however we have added a few of the specific things mentioned here, for example number of cursor operations per collection. Please open a new ticket for any specific stats that you would like to see added.

The btree (index) numbers would be good too. It would be nice to know which collection (or index) it is.

We currently have operation counters, see the "top" command.

cursors would be good
connections doesn't make sense since a connection can be used for anything

for locking, things will change a lock when we do collection level.
