Dear Sir, We can't open your website "university.mongodb.com" from Sudan. It says: "You are trying to access this resource from a restricted region. If you believe you've reached this message in error, please file a ticket on jira.mongodb.org" Can you please remove the sanctions? The economic US sanction to Sudan is over for all personal communication tools & mobile stores and learning platforms. It's effective since February 18, 2015, kindly check the Treasury.gov website for more details: http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/OFAC-Enforcement/Pages/20150217_33.aspx Also you can ask your legal adviser or contact Mr. Tarek M. Fahmy, the Deputy Director, Office of Sanctions Policy and Implementation, at: fahmyt@state.gov Thank you for understanding! |

I thought MongoDB is open source under GNU license! |

Hi shoully We are subject to U.S. law, including export controls, which restrict our ability to provide services or software to persons located in certain countries. We understand that these laws change frequently, and monitor changes to ensure that as many users as permitted use MongoDB. At this time, we do not export, and do not allow anyone else to export, any of our software or services to individuals located in Sudan. Kind regards, |
