 Description

We should add SSL passthrough and fuzzer suites or convert some existing suites to use SSL as a basic sanity check that SSL works well with MongoDB

SERVER-24369 highlighted an issue where the underlying SSL library is not always well tested and may introduce new and unexpected behavior even in LTS OS versions.

I agree with Milkie that this doesn't seem particularly valuable. The fuzzer acts on a command object level and is unlikely to have a meaningful impact on the wire protocol level anyway.

Maybe. I originally converted replset1.js to do a basic test of SSL across nodes, and since it's a network protocol I didn't see the point in doing much further testing past that. It either works or it doesn't.
