 Description

I just wanted to apt-install upgrade MongoDB from our repositories, but I found that mongodb-org 3.2.7 doesn't actually depend on the 3.2.7 versions of the packages it is supposed to be a meta package for. Is this intended, or a bug?

I fixed it by manually upgrading the other packages.

Looks OK now with 3.6 on Debian Wheezy. I'll reopen if I encounter this again, and feel free to close it.

derick Is this ticket still an issue? ernie.hershey Do you need any additional info from Derick if so?

I experimented with this a couple of years ago and came to the conclusion that it was difficult to support in Ubuntu. We might have more options now but I'm not hopeful.
