I recently created a new MongoDB 3.2.8 Cluster and now when I create new databases, they are all going to the same shard. On my old cluster (2.6.8) the databases appeared to distributed across all the shards. How is the shard picked for new databases? Has the process changed in 3.2? |

kevnpettit, the WT project is for bugs related to using WiredTiger outside MongoDB, while the SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-user group or Stack Overflow with the mongodb tag, where your question will reach a larger audience. A question like this involving more discussion would be best posted on the mongodb-user group. See also our Technical Support page for additional support resources. Regards, |
