Hi - in mongo config file when we use logRotate:reopen and with logAppend:True - will it create a new log file every day automatically [MongoDB is running as Windows Service] - Is LogRotate option supported on all Windows Operating System Versions - are there any Known version on which LogRotate Option is no Supported - Can you please articulate about the difference of using logAppend:True and LogAppend:False, and difference between LogRotate:Reopen and LogRotate:rename in Windows... I have read some where that usage of LogRotate in Mongodb Config is not supported on Windows but rather its for Linux is it true..?? Thanks in advance for answering.... |

Fixed by commit b1684bb3dfdcd4101cc605022258a632f4b38d32. A backport to 2.0.x might be worthwhile – the code changes are fairly small, just one function in one file. |
