 Description

The createIndexes dropDups option was retired under SERVER-14710 for MongoDB 3.0. While this option can still be specified, it is removed from the index specification prior to index creation.

Under this ticket we will explicitly reject the dropDups option in the createIndexes command for version 2 indexes (version 2 being new with MongoDB 3.4).

We don't think this will be necessary and will only cause unnecessary failures in scripts.

Reopening. This work will not be handled under SERVER-769 due to a change of scope.

Closing as a duplicate of SERVER-769 where this work will be done. This ticket was created to increase the visibility of this change.
