Hi rjv94rnjn,

So we can track this issue, would you please open a new SERVER ticket including the logs from the failed start up attempt?

Thank you,
Kelsey

Hi alan321,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I've attached the repair attempt on the files you provided. Please extract the files and replace them in your $dbpath. If there is no other corruption the mongod should restart successfully.

Thanks,
Thomas

First,thank you for your answer.
My mongodb server is standalone. It use wriedTiger engine.
Storage devices are attached locally. The disks is HDDs.But we don't use RAID.
The cause of the unclean shutdown is outage.
Other system errors logged around the unclean shutdown, which you mean mongodb.log?

Hi alan321,

Would you please answer the following questions to get a better understanding of what happened here:

  1. What kind of underlying storage mechanism are you using? Are the storage devices attached locally or over the network? Are the disks SSDs or HDDs? What kind of RAID and/or volume management system are you using?
  2. Are you aware of the cause of the unclean shutdown?
  3. Would you please provide the logs preceding the unclean shutdown?
  4. Were any other system errors logged around the unclean shutdown?

Finally, would you please attach the affected WiredTiger.wt file, so we can attempt to repair the corruption?

Thank you,
Thomas
