Hi, I have a 3 shards with 3 config servers and 1 mongos. yesterday mongo doesn't read the full data from shard 3 . so i tried to figure out the problem but while i was searching i found flushconfig command which is suppose to reload the config files .. I thought It's something will reconnect shards with mongos again .. but after running this command my databases gone from mongos .. when I look to the source code of this command I found that It's clear the database. https://github.com/ViDA-NYU/mongodb-vls/blob/master/vls/src/mongo/s/grid.cpp#L601 so now I have my shards and config servers and mongos , shards have all data as a *.wt files .. how can i restore all shards into one single database in mongos . any way to get this back, please ? |

Thanks for your report. Please note that SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-users group or Stack Overflow with the mongodb tag. A question like this involving more discussion would be best posted on the mongodb-users group. It sounds like there may be an issue with the connection to your config servers. If you post on the mongodb-users group, please include the MongoDB version as well as whether the config servers are a replica set or in the legacy mirror configuration. Kind regards, |
