This comment also relates to https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-1049. I am currently doing a BG index and it looks like the index has just grown larger than RAM and is now progressing very slowly. Now queries that normally take ~200ms are taking >2000ms. I'm not in a particular rush to have this index built, and it would be great if I could lower its priority in the system so that it yields more often and/or pauses to let other queries run faster. |
