 Description

I have a wt file in MongoDB. Because the machine shut down, this wt file seems to be corrupted. I tried to use wt command tools to fix it. Salvage successes, but dump fail. Is there any way to fix this file?

this is error info:

// Some comments here
$ ./wt -v -h ../data/00 -C "extensions=[./ext/compressors/zlib/.libs/libwiredtiger_zlib.so]" dump -f bak.dump "appid276419/collection-177-4220921302330699030
lt-wt: table:appid276419/collection-177-4220921302330699030: No such object exists

Hi Thomas,
Could you please help me to fix the other two meta file in other secondaries? Maybe data on the other machines can be dump. But their meta files corrupted. Thank you for your help!

The meta files have been attached in https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-29705, as 01.zip and 02.zip.

Hi chenyuliang01,

Unfortunately, it appears that recovery of this file is not possible. I would recommend performing an initial sync or restoring from a backup.

Kind regards,
Thomas
