| Description |
|
We have master-slave replication running for few days and all of sudden the slave stopped replicating data from master. See attached log at "Mon May 02 02:44:23". The slave started replicating data after restart successfully - see the second log. |

@andrew - what issue are you seeing? |

Please can this be back-ported to the 1.8 branch in time for the 1.8.3 release? |

Ah, I see. There were some ways that replication could silently stop, which should be fixed (and better logged) by the commit above. |

No, there is more than enough space. FlushViewOfFile is a common message in log since we started playing with mongo. As I understand it from jira and forum it's very common on windows and should be harmless as nobody really knows what is the reason but everything works fine. There occurred another issue on this master-slave pair (http://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-3013) but this happened when there was no read/write activity or anything else going on. |

It looks like it's failing to flush the files: Mon May 02 02:43:35 [DataFileSync] FlushViewOfFile failed 33 file: E:/gauzy_db/rcware.117 Any chance you're running out of disk space? |
