for some odd reason we lost our storage network this weekend, causing server hosting MongoDB to shutdown. unclean shutdown. attached MongoDB logs
tried starting MongoDB service but stops with-in seconds

Hi mghrivera,

Unfortunately, this error indicates that multiple files were corrupted during this storage-related event. I would recommend a clean resync from a node that is not affected. If that is not possible, I would recommend executing repairDatabase or restoring from a backup.
