I'd like to use Mongodb for a persistent store for a queue. It would be nice to be able to have my client connect to mongodb and issue a callback to be notified whenever a new record is inserted into a collection. The alternative is to continually poll the collection in an infinite loop which obviously sucks. Give it some thought. Thanks. |

dup of SERVER-124 however, you could use a tailable cursor for that. not too many docs for that - but very cool. ping us in irc or mailing list if you're interested |
