The 3.1 yum repo is missing proper repodata to install. Someone just needs to run createrepo in that directory to solve the problem |

3.1 is an old development branch, which became MongoDB 3.2 stable. The current development version of MongoDB is 3.5, as Mark points out – if you're interested in testing it out the latest development features that's the one you should use. Regards, |

Just for my own clarification, is every odd version a dev branch and therefore unsupported? |

Hello jgarr, Thank you for your report. Unfortunately MongoDB version 3.1 is a development branch and unsupported. If you would like to run packages from the unstable branch, I would recommend the 3.5 branch - http://repo.mongodb.org/yum/redhat/7/mongodb-org/3.5/ - Or if you would like to run packages from the 3.1 branch, I would recommend using the 3.2 branch - http://repo.mongodb.org/yum/redhat/7/mongodb-org/3.2/ - As that is the stable version of the same branch as the 3.1 packages. Thanks, |
