After conversation with max.hirschhorn, assigning back to the TIG team because they did the original shell work and know what needs to be done here.

Strictly for consistency across clients (shell, drivers, any other tools). Presumably, Atlas may start adding "retryWrites=true" to the connection URI presented to users.

jmikola, I want to clarify why is this needed. Is it for our internal testing or this is to make the shell on par with the URI parameters exposed by any generic driver, which supports retryable writes?
