 Description

Can we mix and match linux versions? Currently have primary/secondaries on Ubuntu 14.04 and I am looking to add more hosts to to the cluster but the hosts have to be CentOS 7.

Hello greg.rekounas,

Thank you for the report. As long as the versions of MongoDB are the same, you should not have any issues using different linux distributions on different nodes.
Please note that SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-user group or Stack Overflow with the mongodb tag. A question like this involving more discussion would be best posted on the mongodb-user group.

Thanks,
Mark
