ian.whalen, milkie, I don't think it was a intentional decision - my impression is that we only considered retaining basic coverage across different platforms for the MMAPv1 storage engine and forgot about the non-journaling axis. We should add a "Linux (No Journal) MMAPv1" builder that has whatever tasks were removed from this list with the changes from 99c8a6 as part of |

Nope, I don't think that was so much of a conscious choice as probably something that slipped through. max.hirschhorn did you have any intent behind that? Should I add these back in? |

Yes, do you recall why we chose to remove those tasks completely rather than reconstituting them on the new mmap builder? |

Well there wasn't really an 'MMAP duroff' variant originally. We had a duroff variant which ran both WT (mostly) and some MMAP (jscore, for example) tasks. So what really went away was just running MMAP tasks on this buildvariant. Make sense? |

Ian, can you research why the MMAP duroff variant originally went away? Did it go away when we pulled mmap out into its own builder, or was it missing due to an earlier change? |
