 Description

In MongoDB 3.6 document, we can set --quota option when start up mongod. See
mongod option

But in Config Option Document , we can set quota parameter in case of use mmapv1 storage engine only.

Can I apply --quota option when we use wiredtiger?

Hi m-masataka,

Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to restrict the database size for each user. I've opened DOCS-11259 to clarify which options only apply to MMAPv1, and we'll include your feedback as we consider future development of WiredTiger.

Thanks again,
Kelsey

Thank you for your reply.

Now we use mongodb with WiredTiger storage engine.
And I want to restrict database size in each user.
Is there any way to do this?

Hi m-masataka,

--quota only applies to MMAPv1. Would you please clarify why you are interested in using this parameter with WiredTiger?

Thank you,
Kelsey
