pritam@affwl.com, mongod needs to be running on the remote computer and configured to accept network connections from your local machine, or you won't be able to connect.

i m trying to connect remote server from my local machine .
when i m using mongod --bind_ip_all in mongo shell on remote computer it allows to connect from any loacl machin bt when my mongod --bind_ip_all command is running .
but i want to connect my local machine to remote computer when my mongod --bind_ip_all command is not even running on remote computer .
how should i bind ip permentaly on remote computer
