Steps To Reproduce:

step 1: python2 buildscripts/scons.py mongod -j 6 (cost 60 minutes)
step 2: add a printf in the code;
step 2:compile again(python2 buildscripts/scons.py mongod -j 6) (cost 20minutes)

I have compile code successful(python2 buildscripts/scons.py mongod -j 6), when I add a printf in the code , I compile the code again, it cost much time(abot 20 minutes).

how to compile more quickly?
