Similar to jstests/multiversion/upgrade_cluster.js, we should probably have a downgrade_cluster.js test for basic binary downgrades. It seems like each release we end up writing downgrade tests for specific features so we do end up with coverage eventually, but having a generic one that doesn't need to be removed / altered each release would make incompatible downgrade changes easier to find. |
