 Description

Due to PIP disabling TLS 1.0, easy_install needs to point to toolchain python which links python against a newer ssl version.

I'm closing this BF. It is 3.2 and RHEL 5, two things we don't care about anymore.

Moving it out of the sprint since this is related to a BF that only affects 3.2 on RHEL 5.5.

"pip" hasn't disabled TLS 1.2, pypi has. You'll have TLS issues with easy_install as well.

mark.benvenuto, we're using --system-site-packages when creating the virtual environment on non-Enterprise SLES 12 builders on the 3.2 branch that I wonder if backporting SERVER-28112 and removing the easy_install line would we another possibility.
