Due to PIP disabling TLS 1.0, easy_install needs to point to toolchain python which links python against a newer ssl version. |

I'm closing this BF. It is 3.2 and RHEL 5, two things we don't care about anymore. |

"pip" hasn't disabled TLS 1.2, pypi has. You'll have TLS issues with easy_install as well. |

mark.benvenuto, we're using --system-site-packages when creating the virtual environment on non-Enterprise SLES 12 builders on the 3.2 branch that I wonder if backporting |
