I want to be able to specify the location in the filesystem of the oplog in a simply way, preferably in the configuration file. If you can put you ordinary db file on one disk and the oplog db on another then you can achieve better performance, stability and security. Kind regards |

You can manage this by using the --dbperdirectory option and making the "local" db dir mount to another location. This also allows you to control where each db is in a similar way. |
