Lost data in community version 3.6.5

Original Description

Install MongoDB community version 3.6.5 through apt on Ubuntu 16.04 x64

run as service from May 24, but lost data about more than 3 times, I created two database for wekan, wiki.js, but all of them lost after run few days.

mongodb 1024 1 0 May24 ? 01:55:48 /usr/bin/mongod --config /etc/mongod.conf

mongod.conf is attached.

Just as a quick follow-up, I agree that that log line is misleading, as these collections were in fact dropped, and have opened SERVER-35840. Per your request, I'm closing this ticket.

I see dropping 0 collections, is that means no data drop in this action?

Hi richiewu,

I see in the dropDatabase commands were executed against these databases at 2018-06-03T13:58:04.227+0800 and 2018-06-26T04:57:46.968+0800. This connection appears to belong to a client, so I would suggest tracking down it by using its associated IP.
