 Description

We should remove the two C functions below this line, as they are no longer used by anything.

Everything will continue to work fine. The stack traces will just have numbers instead of the same function name over and over again.

is what mark.benvenuto said when I asked him.

Unfortunately, I do not.

milkie, I've used "index_collator_extension" appearing in the C++ stacktrace as an indication of "this didn't symbolize correctly on Windows." Do you happen to know how that'll manifest after we remove these functions?
