 Description

Dear,

I have a mongodb instance, the files was deleted mistakenly, after recovery the data of the disk(recovery by extundelete), the mongodb instance can not be started. I searched with the error message, I think my issue seems like that one.

I tried with --repair option, it's the same errors.

I uploaded my WiredTiger.turtle and WiredTiger.wt, could you help me check whether it can be repaired? Could you help me fixed this issue? Thank you very very much.

It looks like in this case the WiredTiger.turtle file is badly corrupted, so a repair attempt isn't going to be effective in this case. In this situation, our best recommendation would be to resync the affected node if it is a member of a replica set, or restore from a backup if possible.

To prevent this type of problem in the future please take note of the following guidelines to help mitigate any issues related to unreliable storage layers or server failures:

Regards,
Nick
