 Description

Can we having logical grouping for collections ?

Like student, subject, syllabus collections are grouped under student.

Example:

  • db1
    • student operations - group
      • student - collection
      • subject - collection
      • syllabus - collection
    • finance - group
      • payment - collection
    • teacher - collection without association to any group

by doing this we can expose group level services like, access controls at group level, operation like delete etc. developers can focus on there owned collections.

I also having a use case for this.. currently i'm building cloud platform to build business applications, this helps me to logical separate each application related collections, residing in a single database.

Thanks,

Shivaji

That's generally what people use databases for.

Any reason that won't work?
