hi, i deleted all the collections and indexes files on dbPath (C:\Program Files\MongoDB\Server\4.0\data) and now i cannot open the MongoDB. it says : 2018-08-17T10:23:03.067+0300 I CONTROL [initandlisten] writing minidump diagnostic file C:\Program Files\MongoDB\Server\4.2018-08-17T07-23-03.mdmp

serra.seven@kuveytturk.com.tr If you don't want the files in that directory, you could simply delete it and then recreate it entirely, or specify a new directory via --dbpath or your configuration file. The individual files within the dbpath shouldn't be removed in a piecemeal fashion, and commands such as db.collection.drop() and db.collection.dropIndex should be used when dropping indexes and collections. -Nick |
