Hello! Im using mongodb 3.6.5 on debian64 in kvm virtual machines (5 shards). after a poweroutage today my database files from four shards are corrupt and the mongod instances produce two different errors. i allready tried "-repair" and the wt-commandline-utility with no success. please help me, repairing my wiredtiger.wt 's kind regards, michael |

nelson.kingsley@gmx.at Glad to hear it worked. Some considerations to prevent this type of issue moving forward:

Hello Nick Brewer! Your repair attemts worked for 2 shards.. the other 2 had also filesystem damages and i lost some data... anyway... with your files i was able to recover the most important data with the wt command line utility. thank you very much, michael |

nelson.kingsley@gmx.at I've uploaded the files after a repair attempt. Could you please substitute them for the ones currently within your dbpath, and let us know if this resolves the issue for you? Thanks, repair-attempt-1.tar.gz |
