There are about 80 lines of heavily escaped command strings that are passed to remote_operations.py. These sort of command strings are prone to blending local and remote environments and hard to debug/modify correctly. I suggest that we move most of these into a set of small scripts somewhere in buildscripts. I understand that this is a low priority, but I stumbled upon this earlier and thought it deserved a ticket. |

Moving this ticket to the Backlog and removing the "Backlog" fixVersion as per our latest policy for using fixVersions. |
