How do you fix this on windows? I tried changing logmanager like the link I added in SERVER-733 and it didn't work as a service.

not going to go direct to file, stdout trick works fine and know how to fix on windows

I'll add the one obvious caveat that the message "all output going to: c:\data\logs\mongo.log" should remain as a cout.
