| Description |
|
The wiredtiger/wiredtiger repository has logic in its SConstruct to be able to build the wt tool; however, it is only intended to be run on Windows since make is the required tool when building on Linux systems. It has historically been challenging for engineers to compile a statically-linked version of the wt tool that includes snappy. Having the wt tool be a target of the mongodb/mongo repository's build system would make this much easier to achieve. |
