| Description |
|
The Replica Set Flow Control mechanism throttles writes on the primary by a combination of adding sleeps during write operations before the global lock is acquired, and promoting writes to w:majority. This throttling mechanism aims to keep the majority commit point lag less than or equal to a configured maximum. The default value for this maximum lag is 10 seconds. The mechanism is enabled by default. |
