It is unclear whether index filters were intended to apply to aggregations. Either way, when an aggregation is run, the filters are applied to the "query-level" operation. There are problems with this interaction, such as SERVER-38099. We should consider adding new options to the index filter commands which allow an agg pipeline to be specified (or some other syntax). |
