Hello, I have 2 Linux servers where I installed Mongodb EE on. I moved the datafiles repo to a directory that is shared between those 2 servers using NFS. I am trying to start mongod on both of them with no success. it starts only on one of them.
is it feasible to have 2 mongodb installation reading/writing to a shared nfs starage?
Thank You

Hello Joelle, You should only ever have one mongod instance using any given dbpath. You can use NFS storage if you like but there must be different directories for each mongod. Thank you, Danny |
