Project's functionality is analogous to the select-list in a SQL query; that was why "project" (projection) seemed natural. |

No one complained about it in the previews I've done in conferences. Other things I've come up with are "$select", and "$fields", but they've got their own weird elements as well. |

i can't think of a better name but i could imagine getting a bit of grief about this not being accurate with the mathematical term |
