| Description |

It would be convenient to create new variables-files that point to the current recommended version of the toolchain compiler for that particular branch. Currently we only have variables-files that are hardcoded to point to either "v2" or "v3". The new files that indicate stable or testing could even just be symlinks that point to the v2 or v3 versions, in each branch of mongodb/mongo. |
