 Description

I tried removing lock file but didn't work. I tried to run mongod repair but it exits with error code 62 and says you need to upgrade your data to 3.4 first. I very much lost and in panic of losing my data i need immediate help. mongo repair only works with sudo.

Hello Abhishek,

We still need additional information to diagnose the problem. If this is still an issue for you, would you please provide the information Ramón requested in his last comment?

Thanks,

Sorry to hear you're having issues myc.abhi96. Will you please upload the logs for this server and, if you still have it, the output of when you tried to run repair?

If you're using WiredTiger we may also need the WiredTiger.wt and WiredTiger.turtle file to attempt a repair, so you may want to upload them as well.

Also, you put 3.6.3 in the "Affects Version" field, but you mention 3.4 as well. It will be helpful if you can provide details of the sequence of events: what version where you running, when did you upgrade (if you did), when did your server go down, etc.

Thanks,
Ramón.
