 Description

Feature request for a "Database links" functionality that will allow to connect from MongoDB to Oracle/SQL Servers . This will be similar to how an Oracle Database can have Database links and can connect to remote Databases without password.

Specifically, this will:

  • Allow MongoDB to have similar functionality like existing RDBMS's, which store LINK SERVER (SQLServer/Sybase) or DB Links (Oracle) with password to connect to target Database.
  • Target Database can be either MongoDB or Oracle/SQL Servers or any other technologies.
  • Users can query information on target database using existing link without providing a password.
