duplicates SERVER-39419 Stepdown interrupting a running dropD... Closed
Operating System: ALL
Steps To Reproduce:

Using mongo 4.0.8 in shard configuration: 4 replicas consisting of 3 or 2 members with arbiter. Ubuntu 16.04 in docker.

Not quite sure how to reproduce, because on 4.0.8 version we were working for more than two weeks and all were ok until yesterday.

eric.sedor, without a more detailed stack trace, I'd have to assume this is a duplicate of SERVER-38419. We refactored the catalog code in SERVER-37443 in 4.1.x but, as discussed in SERVER-38419, it's not feasible to back port the changes to 4.0.

Heya.
Attached diagnostic data from both nodes with errors.

Ubus, would you please archive (tar or zip) the $dbpath/diagnostic.data directory (described here) and attach it to this ticket?

This could be related to (or a duplicate of) SERVER-38419, but we are not yet sure of that.
