We have two mongodb shards 29GB each. All data is about 50GB. mongostat: but: root@MongoShard1:~# free about 29gb used, but by mongo only 1.49gb Does it mongodb bug? |

Looks like in cache - so file system cache probably. |

No - this can be totally normal based on usage patterns, restarts, etc... |
