It is a bad idea to use icecream over the VPN or over WiFi. At best it won't work, followed by having poor performance due to throttling, followed by real misbehavior like saturating a network. We should add guard rails that attempt to detect and reject attempts to access the cluster without a wired ethernet connection. |
